Caterlink and Edenred voucher scheme

We would like to reassure schools that existing service and hamper provision from Caterlink is not currently affected by the introduction of the Edenred voucher scheme. Please contact Caterlink direct re the ongoing ordering of hampers.

To date, Caterlink have supplied 27,000 hampers and these will still be available if schools wish to purchase them for families. We are aiming to provide as many schools as possible with hot food.  Numbers less than 25 will not be ruled out but schools may have to be more flexible and Caterlink are dealing with these on a site by site basis.  Some are collecting meals from their local production kitchens, others are having more flexible lunchtimes service.

Caterlink are normally paid per meal they produce.  Clearly this has not been achievable since COVID and the Council has been supporting them flexibly throughout the period with overheads, in line with the government supplier relief note.
