Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Paper Applications

The Business Service Centre at Gloucestershire County Council  are continually looking to improve the service they deliver and have decided that in the interests of security and in order to prevent charging increasing  costs they will withdraw paper DBS applications from 1 May 2021.

With the online DBS system there will not be the delays that are experienced by using paper applications for DBS checks.  If you do not already have access to our online DBS system, please email dbsadmin@gloucestershire.gov.uk  with the full name and email address of the person(s) in your organisation that will require access in order to initiate a DBS check and verify applicant’s identification documents by 25 April 2021.

 

Any DBS paper application’s that are received on or after  1 May 2021 will not be actioned and the application(s) will be returned to you.
