Education Inclusion Service (EIS) temporary Locality Lead arrangements, plus Inclusion Officer update

Published
03.06.2019

EIS have temporary Locality Inclusion Lead arrangements for Stroud and Cotswold schools until 31st August, plus new Inclusion Officers joining the team.

As of 1st June 2019, Nathan Roe, Locality Inclusion Lead for Stroud and Cotswold, will be starting a new job within GCC. Whilst he will continue to do some work for EIS until the end of July, he will not be Locality Inclusion Lead for the area; during term 6 and over the summer holidays, Vikki Burt and Jamie Ford will be temporarily sharing the lead for this locality area.

Please continue to contact our Inclusion Officers in the usual way if you have any questions, concerns or need advice during this time, and our Inclusion Officers will liaise with Jamie and Vikki as appropriate.

EIS will share new Locality Inclusion Lead arrangements for September onwards in time for the start of the next academic year.

We are also pleased to introduce to you our new Inclusion Officers (IOs) who have joined the team: Tammy Jenkins, Stacey Bayliss, Gill Rennie and Laura Nutland. They are currently undertaking induction and will be continuing to make contact with schools next term.  Sam Blackwell is also no longer an IO but is now an Outcome Coordinator in the team.

With our new team members starting, we have taken the opportunity to reflect on the IO role in the light of current priorities, school feedback, and the direction of the service. We are pleased to say that with extra capacity now in the team, we can grow the work we are doing to support you further this term and from September onwards; we will share further details with you ready for the start of the next academic year.

Please contact your Inclusion Officer directly, or ring EIS via 01452 427274
