Education Leads Information and Networking Event - Employer Engagement and Business Links - 10th October 2018

The inaugural Education Leads Information and Networking Event to will be held at The Growth Hub, Oxstalls Campus on October 10th between 6pm and 8:30pm.

The event will be bringing together the world of education and business to bring some clarity the new role of Careers Leader within schools and colleges.  The longer term aim is to link schools, colleges, businesses and supporting organisations and to discuss how we can support young people on the pathway from education to employment.

The event would be particularly suitable for Senior Leadership, Careers Leaders, Chairs of Governors and anyone with responsibility for providing careers guidance to young people.  Whilst the event won’t answer all your questions, the aim is for educators to be clear on their role and responsibilities with regard to careers advice and guidance and to be aware of the support available within the county.

A senior member of the Careers and Enterprise Company will deliver a key note speech at the start of the event followed by a choice of breakout sessions.

Refreshments will also be available.

Please register your interest by return email to laura.nutland@gloucestershire.gov.uk by September 27th.  More details of the event will follow in due course.
