Over two half day sessions, this interactive course will give staff the opportunity to review learning resources and discover practical ways of supporting students to develop their Maths skills; and then implement the training before discussing experiences with colleagues in session 2.
Topics covered on this course include:
- How resources and pictorial representation help students to develop their learning
- Practical demonstrations of student support for aspects of Maths
- Discover Mastery and Reasoning and how pupils can be supported to develop these skills
All delegates have the choice of a morning session or an afternoon session on both dates; Please notify us of your preference at the time of booking. To book your place on this course please email virtualschooladmin@gloucestershire.gov.uk
There are limited spaces for this training; initially it will be one space per Setting/ School. If you are unable to attend both sessions, this course may not be suitable for you, please register your interest and we will keep you informed of similar courses in the future.
Please note: due to the increased demand for spaces and the cost to deliver our training courses, there will be a £50 charge for all non-attendance of less than 48 hours notice before the start of the course. If there is an unavoidable absence you may wish to send an alternative delegate so that your school is represented.
