Future Me Logo Competition

Published
08.02.2019

Future Me is a programme of information, guidance and events that is being developed to help young people in getting prepared for their adult lives.

This includes making choices for Post-16 learning and training, building independence, becoming more involved within the community and preparing for work and employment.

We are looking for schools and colleges to help us design a memorable logo to represent the Future Me programme.  The competition is open to all students currently studying at Gloucestershire’s schools and colleges.  Students can enter as an individual or as part of a group.  From the entries received, a short list of finalists will be invited to an awards event at Shire Hall. The finalists will receive an award, have an opportunity to showcase their entry and an overall winner decided . The winning design will be translated by our design team into a logo which will be displayed on all Future Me media and at all Future Me events.

To increase their chance of success, please get your students’ to use the following guidance when designing their logo:

• Keep it simple. Often the best logos are the simplest ones.

• Aim to make it memorable and easily recognisable.

• Effective in both colour and black and white.

The final design may have to be adjusted slightly to ensure its effective use for both for print and digital.
