We appreciate that some schools have not purchased GLOSSI this year and will therefore not have a named adviser. If you have a query around our statutory duties (for example statutory assessment or advice after your Ofsted call) do email Glossi@gloucestershire.gov.uk and an adviser will get back to you as soon as possible. If your call is urgent, please contact the Education Lead for the area.

4th October 10.00-12:00 Headteacher network meeting (Virtual)

Education Trends 2022: What’s coming now and next?

We are delighted to welcome Laura McInerney as the first keynote speaker out our Headteacher Network Meeting this term. This event is free to GLOSSI subscribing schools.

Laura uses her knowledge from frontline education reporting, and inside sources, to give and insight into what changes are afoot in schools over the next twelve months.

Laura McInerney is an education journalist, former secondary teacher, and co-founder of Teacher Tapp & Parent Ping, the daily

apps uncovering the secret lives of thousands of teachers and parents.

She started her career teaching in London comprehensives before being taken to court by Michael Gove for asking a difficult question about free schools. (She eventually won).

Following this, Laura became a journalist, editing Schools Week and writing a column for the Guardian, and is regularly heard on BBC radio shows such as More or Less and the Today show.
