Gloucestershire Schools Critical Incident Support (updated for May 2022)

The Schools Critical Incident Support sheet has been updated for May 2022.  Schools should familiarise themselves with emergency out of hours procedures including premises and site related emergency contractor call out information previously provided.

 

 

 

If appropriate, schools should ensure a copy of the essential contact information is held safely off-site in the event that the school building is inaccessible.

 

The key update is that when an out of hours emergency call is made Emergency Services will contact the Civil Protection Duty Officer who will then contact and co-ordinate the County Council response.

 

Schools should delete/dispose of all old copies and ensure that all relevant staff are up-to-date with the guidance for responding to emergencies.
