IMPORTANT: Changes to the Schools Emergency Closure System

Published
02.10.2018

The School Emergency Closure website and process is changing soon. During the last week in September you were sent an email by Deborah.peake@gloucestershire.gov.uk asking you to confirm some important details as we need to send you secure login information. If you have not yet responded to the email, please can you do so as quickly as possible as this will enable the roll out of the new simpler School Emergency Closure site and allow a test day to be arranged for schools to practice.

The new website will allow establishments control over closure messages. Please note the old closure site will be turned off as soon as the new site goes live. At present you can only OPEN/CLOSE your establishment with the old automated telephone system. If you require a longer message to be put on the website this can only be done during office hours Mon-Fri 08:00-15:00hrs. If you have onsite EY provision you will have received a second email requiring a response.
