Online help for adverse weather conditions

Published
12.12.2018

Over the Christmas months, adverse weather can really affect all of us. This includes your staff and parents and children who could get caught out if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

The page www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/winter contains information on gritting routes and where to seek help over the festive period.

School closures can always cause havoc to a school day, especially if parents and staff don’t get the message. As well as your own contingency plans for bad weather, Gloucestershire County council host a page that lists all known school closures and a place to register for email alerts whenever a new school is added to the list. This could prove useful to accompany your own plans and the page is https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/closures/
