Regulation (PSVAR) changes to Home to school transport for vehicles over 22 seats

Published
06.12.2019

If your school arranges transport for students to travel to and from your school and charge the parent for a bus pass, as a direct payment or as part of an overall educational package, and the vehicle is over 22 seats then the vehicle must be PSVAR compliant from January 2020.

Operators should be aware of the changes so please speak to whoever operates the transport you arrange to clarify the implications for the route. If the service is provided by Gloucestershire County Council then you needn’t take any action.
