Safeguarding Administrators Course - 11 May 2022

As part of Gloucestershire Safeguarding in Education’s on-going commitment to Gloucestershire Schools, I am pleased to announce our next safeguarding course for administrators will be held on 11th May 2022, which will ensure they have everything they need to know to administrate safeguarding smoothly in your school.

 

 

The course will centre around robust front office procedures, safer recruitment and the roles and responsibilities under Section 175 of the Education Act 2002. We will cover working with the DSL team and the paperwork and records associated with child protection and children in need plans. Suspensions, exclusions and attendance, restraints, acceptable user policies, FGM, CSE, Domestic Abuse, E-safety, Hate and Anti-Bullying. School lock down procedures and having those difficult safeguarding conversations.

 

This course is free to those who are part of Traded Services for Safeguarding.
