SEF On A Plate
An essential summary of recent Ofsted handbook revisions and other key legislation will be provided to facilitate you and your governors with updating your current SEF and planning purposeful revisions throughout the year. Key messages and strategies for developing your self-evaluation form and aligning it with other key documents will also be explored.
An opportunity for school leaders and governors to hear key messages relating to these essential documents. Time is allocated for leaders, including governors, to begin to consider how the prompts and most up to date school information may be used to enable them to refine their own Self Evaluation Forms, and plan for updating it throughout the year.
Outcomes
This event will enable you to have information to support you with, and time to work together on:
- If/how amendments to key documentation, for example revisions to the Ofsted handbook and attendance documentation, should be reflected in your SEF/SDP
- Ensuring that school documentation aligns and provide an evidence informed view of your school
- Planning to ensure that documentation stays up to date and is of value to school improvement.
Whilst prompts and guidance will be provided for schools, to further refine existing documentation, pro-formas shared will also be provided for those that would like a new format.
