Systematic Synthetic Phonics (SSP) Teaching Programmes and Webinar

The Department for Education (DfE) is launching a new process to validate complete systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) teaching programmes. This process is for both previously assessed programmes and new applicants.

The English Hub is hosting a webinar on Thursday 6^th May, 4pm - 5pm to talk through the DfE SSP validation process. Please use this link to register.

This webinar will have a particular focus on the implications for schools using the current Letters and Sounds framework.
