The Holocaust Educational Trust free online training sessions

This term, and over the summer break, the Holocaust Educational Trust has a variety of exciting online and in person opportunities available to you and your students to support your teaching about learning about the Holocaust.

Read below to find out about our free Teacher Training Programmes, downloadable Teaching Resources, Outreach Programme and Lessons from Auschwitz Online Projects for sixth form students and teachers, or go to www.het.org.uk for information about our educational programmes.

 

Primary and secondary school teachers from anywhere in the UK, and at any stage of their careers, can join for free online training sessions. Teachers can book a Bespoke Workshop for their colleagues, or join us for upcoming opportunities including:

  • Introduction to the Holocaust Educational Trust - a 90 minute online session led throughout the year.
  • Online Teacher Study Seminars, which this term include the following sessions:
  • Sunday 22 May 2022 (19:00-20:30) The Ringelblum Archive in history and memory, with Professor Havi Dreifuss from University of Tel Aviv
  • Tuesday 24 May 2022 (17:00-18:30): Teaching the Ringelblum Archive, with Shlomit Steiner from Yad Vashem
