Schools Forum

Elections 2018

The document on the right lists the results of the Gloucestershire Schools Forum Elections 2018.

An election took place for a Primary (Maintained) Governor Representative.  The result of the election count which took place on 21 March 2018,  is outlined below:

RESULT–  Sara Morris is re-elected to the Forum (New term of office 1 April 2018 – 31 March 2021)

The Forum has an advisory role in a number of aspects concerning decisions about school funding and budgets. The Forum also advises on certain contracts for supplies and services.

The Gloucestershire Schools Forum has been set up under the requirements of 

The Schools Forum Constitution describes the membership and role of the Forum.

Members of the forum are elected every two years.


Members of the public may attend Forum meetings but may only ask questions or participate in the discussion if asked to do so by the Chair. All meetings start at 2pm, and are held at Shire Hall, Gloucester unless another location is listed against that date. Dates for 2017 meetings:

  • Thursday 15 March
  • Thursday 10 May
  • Thursday 21 June
  • Thursday 20 September
  • Thursday 15 November

Meeting papers
