For Children with Physical Disability

We support children and young people with physical needs to access teaching and learning in their educational settings; enabling them to fulfil their full potential, have a positive learning experience and take part in wider opportunities with their peers.

Working with children and young people, their families and other professionals, we support school and settings to build capacity to contribute to positive outcomes, remove barriers to learning and maximise independence.

We offer training and advice on access to learning, enabling the student to engage in the full range of educational activities.

The team promotes networking and the development of good practice through regular training courses, INSET, etc.

We have high aspirations for the achievements of children and young people with physical needs. We are committed to ensuring children and Young people thrive, access their full potential, and have fun whilst they learn at all stages of the Gloucestershire Graduated Pathway.
