Business Advice regarding compliance
This Service aims to offer as much assistance as possible to our businesses in these challenging times. Whilst we endeavour to provide the most up to date information on line, we advise to check the Gov.uk website for the latest Government Advice.
The Government information can be found here.
Our aim is to support businesses in Gloucestershire to comply with all legislation, should you find yourself struggling to find the advice you require on our website or the GOV.UK site then please get in touch using the contact us details at the foot of the page.
COVID-19 App
GOV.UK and NHS are launching the COVID-19 App nationally on Thursday 24th September 2020 and there is a requirement that all businesses required to record customers details either display a QR code or have their own method of recording visitors and staff who access the property. The intention is that the use of the NHS App and QR code is the preferred method of collecting contact details. See "Do I need a QR Code" link.
Social Distancing Requirements
Businesses must be "covid Secure" and ensure that they follow requirements to keep staff and customers safe. Restaurants and bars in particular are reminded that they now required to not accept bookings of more than 6 people, do not allow groups of 6 people to enter and do not allow people from different groups to mingle(unless it is an exempt gathering). Businesses must also ensure that social distancing and cleaning measures are in place.
Further guidance is available using the links on this page.
