Radiation is part of everyday life. We are all exposed to radiation from natural sources e.g. radon gas and manmade activity e.g. for medical reasons.

Businesses and organisations who work with or transport radioactive material are heavily regulated to ensure they do so safely without risk of harm to the public or environment.
