Gloucestershire Day 2022
What makes you smile about Gloucestershire?
Get involved with Gloucestershire Day on Friday 7 October….
This Friday is World Smile Day – what better day to celebrate this year’s Gloucestershire Day on. As a mark of respect to HM Queen Elisabeth II we delayed the marking of Gloucestershire Day this year, usually held on 21 September, but still wanted to find a day where we could celebrate all that is wonderful about Gloucestershire.
In previous years we have celebrated people and businesses across Gloucestershire so this year we want to focus on places that make you SMILE.
It could be a favourite view, dog walk, town, village, or parish. Bottom line, if it makes you smile and its Gloucestershire related, we want to hear about it.
So, whether it’s your local community, shop, restaurant, pub, school, a person, or memory that brings a smile to your face, please tell us and we’ll tell others, so they can smile too.
To help you celebrate Gloucestershire Day, we have set up this dedicated web page with everything you need to know about Gloucestershire Day, including a downloadable flag.
When sharing the things that make you smile, please use #GloucestershireDay22 and tag us in @GCC, so we can celebrate with you.
As always, we will be celebrating along with colleagues from the six district and borough colleagues, other public sector partners and Visit Gloucestershire, so look out for content from them too.
