Every Local Authority has now developed an Armed Forces Covenant at a local level. The aim of the Covenant at a local level is to encourage communities to support the Armed Forces community in their area and promote understanding and awareness among the public of issues affecting them. Each area will be different, but most will provide information to the Armed Forces community on local services and support.
