Emergency First Aid at Work
The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is suitable for people aged 16+ who might need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. For organisations whose first aid needs assessment has identified a requirement for someone to hold a current emergency first aid at work qualification this course meets those requirements.
As part of this course you will cover:
- Unresponsive and not breathing, including how to use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Unresponsive and breathing
- Having a seizure
- Choking
- Bleeding heavily
- Suffering from shock
- Burns
- Assessing a casualty
- Monitoring a casualty
The course is run over one day from 9am-5pm and is delivered indoors, in a classroom environment. Learners are assessed by continuous observation, questioning, written and practical demonstrations during the day. Each learner will receive a First Aid booklet and training pack. The qualification is valid for three years.
Courses cost £85 per person.
This course meets the requirements specified by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

At our Family First Aid course you will cover topics such as:
- Primary survey
- What to do in an emergency
- Minor injuries
- Allergies
- How to put someone in the recovery position.
