TQUK Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work

The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is suitable for people aged 16+ who might need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. For organisations whose first aid needs assessment has identified a requirement for someone to hold a current emergency first aid at work qualification this course meets those requirements. 

As part of this course you will cover:

  • Unresponsive and not breathing, including how to use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Unresponsive and breathing
  • Having a seizure
  • Choking
  • Bleeding heavily
  • Suffering from shock
  • Burns
  • Assessing a casualty
  • Monitoring a casualty

The course is run over one day from 9am-5pm and is delivered in an indoor classroom environment.  Learners are assessed by continuous observation, questioning, written and practical demonstrations during the day. Each learner will receive a First Aid booklet and training pack. The qualification is valid for three years.
