Our response...
We understand that our works (or any works) on the highway are inherently disruptive and apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result. We will be working with our scheme delivery partners to minimise disruption as much as possible and will monitor journey times adjusting Traffic Management where appropriate. The phasing of the works will avoid sets of works in close proximity and wherever possible road closures will be undertaken at night to minimise the impact on residents, businesses and commuters.
Regular communications will be provided in the form of scheme bulletins, press releases and letter drops. A contractor share event will be undertaken ahead of works commencement to allow anyone affected to raise questions about the delivery programme for the works.
