Reasonable adjustments
We’re committed to being a diverse, inclusive and accessible employer in which all colleagues, including disabled and neurodivergent employees, are valued, can contribute and perform their jobs well.
We want every applicant to have the opportunity to perform at their best, and we’re happy to offer reasonable adjustments to support you throughout the recruitment process.
Requesting an Adjustment
If you require support during the recruitment process, you can tell us:
- On your application form
- When you are invited to interview
- By contacting the recruiting manager or recruitment team at any stage of the process
Sharing information about a disability or health condition is entirely your choice, but doing so can help us understand how we can best support you. Requesting an adjustment will not affect the outcome of your application. Include details about the support you need and how it will help. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs and make the process as fair and comfortable as possible.
Examples of Adjustments We Can Consider
The support we provide will depend on your individual circumstances and the requirements of the role. Examples may include:
✅ Additional time to complete assessments or tests
✅ Alternative formats for recruitment materials (such as large print or coloured paper)
✅ Accessible interview locations
✅ Adjustments to interview times
✅ Sign language interpreters or hearing support
✅ Short breaks during interviews or assessment activities
✅ Support with accessing virtual interviews
This list is not exhaustive, and we will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
Talking about your disability
We encourage a culture and working environment of inclusivity where you feel comfortable to disclose information about your condition which may impact your work life. We recognise that disclosing a disability is a personal decision, and there is no obligation for anybody to do so. It is up to you too.
Should you be selected for interview and have indicated on your application form that you require an adjustment(s) the line manager or recruitment team will be in contact and arrange for the appropriate adjustments to be put in place in preparation for your interview or for the assessment process.
Disability Confident Employer
As a Disability Confident employer, applicants who declare a disability and meet the minimum criteria for a role will be guaranteed an interview in line with the Disability Confident Scheme.
