Children’s social workers
Children’s social workers will work to protect children and young people and enable them to develop resilience through responsive relationships. They work inclusively with children services colleagues and partners to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Social workers will assess a family's needs and plan and implement suitable multi-agency interventions and service provisions. Social workers have the opportunity to progress to the senior social worker role through completing a competency based progression test.
"I love working with foster carers to support them and help provide nurturing homes for children. It is really rewarding to see foster carers develop their knowledge of attachment, trauma and therapeutic parenting." - Amy
