Complete RFL in June

Send Ready for Reception Transition Record and any other supporting information to receiving school by first week of July

Invite reception teacher/teaching assistant to meet and get to know children if this hasn’t already happened

Provide school uniforms for dressing up in role play areas

Select and share Resources for Parents to support delivery of curriculum

For children with additional needs in Summer Term 2 of their pre-school year, continue to review support and transition arrangements, invite the receiving Reception teacher to observe the child in the setting, and facilitate additional visits to school where needed.  Consider SENIF to support enhanced transition activities within the early years setting prior to the child's move to school
