Courses for Early Years staff have been funded by Gloucestershire County Council (early years dept.). All early years staff working with under 5's, nursery, and day care settings, including childminders and childminder assistants, can access e-learning courses. These can be accessed via the GSCP training platform.
Please ask your organisation / training leads for your Early Years bespoke link to the GSCP training platform. Early years staff, childminding assistants and those who need a basic safeguarding children course and have completed Level 1, please complete Safeguarding Children (Level 2) eLearning course.

Early year staff new in post, please contact your heads of service in the first instance for the link to the new training platform FORM LMS where you can book on Safeguarding Children in Education. This is a 120 minute e-learning course with a certificate for successful completion.
All newly registered childminders must complete the Level 1 and 2 e-learning course as a pre-requisite to attending the (DSL) Child Protection Inter-Agency (Group/Level 3). You must register on the FORM LMS training platform to access these.
