Benhall Junctions
Walking and cycling improvements on Benhall Avenue, Miserden Road and Campden Road.

Pedestrian and cyclist route improvements have been made to junctions on Benhall Avenue, Campden Road and Miserden Road, adjacent to the A40 Gloucester Road.
The improvements have been made to support localised improvements to cycling and walking at several constraints along the A40 corridor following the recently completed West Cheltenham Walking and Cycling Improvements scheme. These support the County Councils ambitions for a greener Gloucestershire, reducing carbon emissions, supporting improvements to public health and making it easier for people to cycle and walk to work, to homes and to transport hubs.
The improvements include:
Benhall Avenue / Miserden Road / Campden Road junction
A change of priority at the Benhall Avenue / Miserden Road / Campden Road junction with priority given to cyclists and motorists travelling East / West between Miserden Road and Campden Road. This means cyclists and motorists travelling North / South between the A40 Gloucester Road and Benhall Avenue will need to Give Way to those travelling East / West between Miserden Road and Campden Road. The works include new lining arrangements and signage.
Campden Road
An improved Shared Use Path (SUP) link between A40 Gloucester Road and Campden Road. This provides an improved and safer link for pedestrians and cyclists between these two roads and the Toucan crossing on the A40 Gloucester Road.
Miserden Road
An extension of the Shared Use Path (SUP) from Whittington Road, further into Miserden Road. This extends the SUP to provide a link to a safer crossing point for pedestrians and cyclists on Miserden Road, further back from the Whittington Road junction.
