Loading – Southgate Street

Southgate Street currently does currently not have dedicated parking bays. We conducted a door-to-door exercise to gain feedback and understand from local businesses how they currently load and unload their goods. This feedback has been shared with our design team.  

The proposal includes dedicated loading bays near to the junction between Spa Road and Southgate Street to allow businesses to use as part of the new Traffic Regulation Order strategy. Any loading and waiting proposals to this area will be part of the wider Traffic Regulation Order process and the public will get further opportunity to make comments.
