What is Gloucestershire County Council and what is their role?

Gloucestershire County Council is the Highway Authority for Gloucestershire. Alongside day-to-day highway and maintenance work and smaller improvements schemes, Gloucestershire County Council also undertakes major projects on key parts of the road network. Arle Court Transport Hub would be delivered by Gloucestershire County Council as they own and run the Park and Ride site at Arle Court.

Gloucestershire County Council submitted a planning application to seek approval for the proposals at the Arle Court Transport Hub in early 2022.
