Miller Homes Development – Shurdington Road Cheltenham

Miller Homes are currently undertaking a number of highway related works as part of the granted planning permission for Greenway Chase. We will be providing further updates after on the works schedule where it impacts on the existing live highway network. To assist existing road users we have been able to provide an update on the current works schedule along the Shurdington Road, Cheltenham.

Planned works updates

Between Highwood Avenue and Woodlands Drive

• Footway extension and installation of new pedestrian signal controlled crossing.
  There will be a continuation of temporary lights until end of May 2026.

These lights will be manually controlled Monday to Friday during peak traffic periods.
- 7 am. to 9 am.
- 4 pm. to 7 pm.

We are in discussion with the developer to look at options of removing the temporary lights on weekends subject to road safety considerations.

• Full Night Closures 8 pm to 6 am, 01/06/26 Until 05/06/26 (5 Nights)

We are in discussion with the developer regarding potential for reviewing these times subject to road safety considerations.

• Night Works under controlled lights, 08/06/26 Until 12/06/26 (5 nights)

We are in discussion with the developer regarding potential for reviewing these times subject to road safety considerations. 

Roundabout final phases

• Multiway Signals 15/06/26 Until 10/07/26 (4 Weeks)
• Full Night Closures as before for final surfacing.
  13/07/26 Until 17/07/26 (5 nights), 8 pm to 6 am
