Knights Brown: Project Update - January 2023
Despite the site team’s best efforts to try and reopen the road in time for Christmas, the great British weather didn’t want to cooperate, and with frozen ground conditions, we sadly had to delay our work until after the festive break.
Since our return in January, we have accelerated our work programme to ensure we can reopen the road by the end of January.
This week we have completed the surfacing and white lining of the road. The two brick parapet walls have been completed with concrete copings, and the stone boundary wall has been reinstated as part of our community liaison incentive.
We are pleased to announce that following the successful completion of this work, the road will reopen to the public on Saturday, 21 January 2023.
