Slimbridge Parish Speed Reduction Scheme
Gloucestershire County Council would like to invite residents of Slimbridge Parish to a community engagement meeting to discuss the proposed speed reduction scheme in your area.
We will be sharing details of the proposals to reduce speed limits through Slimbridge, Cambridge and surrounding settlements, including which roads are affected. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your views, and help shape the final approach.

What is being proposed?
We are proposing a reduction in speed limits across several roads in Slimbridge Parish. The Plan Below sets out the areas for proposed speed limits.
The following roads and lanes are proposed to be 20mph:
Main Roads
- St Johns Road
- Churchend Road
- Kingston Rd
- Newgrounds Lane (to Wetland Centre)
- Moorend Lane, Tyndale Rd, Ryalls Lane
- Longaston Lane
Residential Closes
- The Bewicks
- The Close/Tyning Crescent
- Lancelot Court, Longaston Close
- unnamed lane next to The Black Shed Café Cambridge
The following roads and lanes are proposed to be 30mph Limit:
- Area east of A38
- Wisloe Rd
- Dursley Road
- Barton Field
