QR Code Scam
Important information regarding the county’s on street pay and display terminals
We have been informed of a scam regarding QR codes on pay and display machines locally. Under these circumstances, we would urge our customers to use other payment methods rather than scan and pay via a smart device. Payment can be made online (MiPermit app which can be downloaded via app stores on your mobile phones) or by using a credit or debit card (Please follow link on how to use our pay and display machines)
We would like to assure customers that this matter is being taken very seriously and has been reported to the police. Additionally, we are carrying out checks and audits to ensure that our machines can be used by the QR scan code as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.
