What to do if your PCN details are not recognised?

If your Penalty Charge Number (PCN) details are not recognised when trying to pay online or by the automated telephone line, please check that you have inserted the correct PCN number or Vehicle Registration Number (VRM).

If you have entered the correct details and the system is not recognising your PCN number, please check that the PCN is correct. Please note that all PCNs issued by Gloucestershire County Council start with a prefix of GD. Please refer to previous tabs, pay online or pay by telephone, to find the relevant information on how to make payment.

Please note that you will need to refer to the issuing authority for any prefixes, other than GD.

Please find below a list of prefixes for PCNs issued by the district councils (Off-Street Parking), within Gloucestershire:

• Cotswold District Council (PCNs with Prefix ZD)
• Forest of Dean District Council (PCNs with Prefix FE)
• Gloucester City Council (PCNs with Prefix GO)
• Tewkesbury Borough Council (PCNs with Prefix TU)
