When should I pay my penalty?

Payments must be made within 28 days of the notice being given to prevent further actions being taken. In some circumstances the fine is reduced if payment is made within 14 days for on street parking Penalty Charge Notices (PCN). This will be outlined on the PCN that you receive.

Please note that any PCN issued on or after 31 May 2022, you now have 21 days to pay at a reduced amount for a PCN that has been issued by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), i.e. by CCTV car or in a bus lane.
