The LTP has been refreshed (March 2021), and includes zero carbon transport targets and an 80% reduction aspiration by 2030.
Transport accounted for 32% of all CO2 emissions (per capital tCO2) in Gloucestershire in 2018.
An e-cargo bike trial is due to begin in the centre of Cheltenham, using money from DEFRA's 2021 Air Quality Grant bid. The aim is to reduce the number of polluting vehicles in Cheltenham's Air Quality Management Areas, through delivering goods via e-cargo bikes. |
