Tree inspections
We seek to find a balance between managing the risks associated with highway trees where Gloucestershire County Council has responsibility, whilst preserving arboricultural resources. This is achieved by maximising the utilisation of the resources that are needed to manage the trees through efficient systems and processes.
For further information, please see our Tree Inspection Policy

Ash Dieback
To prevent the spread of ash dieback and keep Gloucestershire’s roads safe, highway crews are removing infected trees and replanting two trees for every diseased tree cut down around the county. Further information is available here.
