On Your Feet
Walking for 20 minutes per day can have a profound positive effect on your health and cut your risk of some serious health problems. With clocks changing what better time to make small changes to your routines? Ditching the car and walking to work will absolutely improve your health and is also better for the environment. With the clocks changing and the improving weather now is the perfect time to increase your walking.
If you live too far from the office to walk the whole distance, try parking slightly further away to increase your walking time. You can do the same for the drop off and pick up from school. How about a short walk during your lunch break to clear the brain and make you more productive?
If you are still mainly working from home, commit to using the time you have saved from no longer commuting to going for a walk around your local area.
Use National Walk to Work Day as your launching point for being more physically active.
