Walking to school is the most effective way to get healthy and be active with less effort.

Walking help in releasing of brain chemicals such as oxytocin, serotonin and Endorphin. These chemicals are to trigger-happy and positive feelings. Consistent walking can assist kids in falling asleep quickly and achieve a good night's sleep.

While walking on the way to school can also be a good time to educate kids about road safety, navigation skills and enlighten them about their surroundings.

It can also be an opportunity for parents to spend good time with their kids, also kids make friends, catch up, and chat on their way to school, which can promote social development and mental well-being.

Good news walking to and from school is free and helps to improve air quality as we get ready for Clean Air Day.
