Ofsted webinar: ‘Nominee training for schools’ (October 2025)

Ofsted has released a training webinar designed to support school leaders in understanding the role of the ‘nominee’ for inspections under the renewed education inspection framework (EIF).
‘The nominee will act as a vital link between your school and our inspection team, assisting communication and supporting leaders' workload and wellbeing during inspection.’
The webinar focuses on:
§ ‘what the nominee role entails;
§ how nominees support the inspection process;
§ key responsibilities and expectations;
§ how to decide if your school needs a nominee; and
§ about the main changes to our inspection framework’.
The webinar also provides example scenarios that show the nominee role in practice.
