Gloucestershire County Council is proposing to introduce a 20 mph limit onto Tuffley Avenue for its entire length and to propose the introduction/removal of traffic calming features, as outlined within the below documents.
The proposed 20mph speed limit seeks to improve road safety and amenity for all highway users, including pedestrians and cyclists, as well as improving the consistency of the speed limits in the surrounding area.
To complement the proposed speed limit, Gloucestershire County Council is proposing improvements to traffic-calming measures to to reinforce the reduction in vehicle speeds and enhance overall road safety.
