Various Proposals relating to the new Forum Development, Station Road, Gloucester

A new development has been approved under Planning consent 20/01286/FUL to build “The Forum” which is a mixed-use development in the centre of Gloucester. In order to support the amended traffic movements and road layout around the new development, Gloucestershire County Council is:

1. Revoking the existing Bus Lane along Market Parade and implementing a new 24/7 with-flow Bus Lane along Market Parade which will prohibit all vehicles, except buses, taxis, pedal cycles and private hire vehicles from entering that part of Market Parade; and
2. Introducing No Entry restrictions on Spreadeagle Road and Grosvenor House Service Road to prohibit all vehicles from entering those sections of roads; and
3. Introducing a One Way restriction along Market Parade to complement the new with-flow bus lane mentioned in number 1 above to prohibit all vehicles from travelling south-east along that part of Market Parade; and
4. Introducing waiting and loading restrictions in the roads surrounding the new Forum development.
