Traffic Signals Switch off Application
Why do I need one?
If works are taking place within 100m of any Traffic Signals (incl pedestrian signals and pelican crossings) then it will be necessary for the Signals to be switched off.

An engineer from our contractors, Telent, will carry out the switch off, and they will arrange to meet on site with you.
How will long will it take?
A minimum of 7 working days notice is required.
How much will it cost?
From the 1st April 2025 the fee for traffic signal switch offs is £556.80. The fee payable is 0% VAT.
A PO number must be supplied in order for the application to be processed, and the invoice for payment to be generated.
