Our Vision
Our vision and purpose: We make a difference by enabling people to help themselves and each other, doing everything we can to help people build resilience, thrive and live a good life.
Our vision for the people we work with is that we want everyone who comes into contact with ASC to lead full and active lives where they are supported to be independent as far as they can be. We want people to have choice and control over the services and support they receive and have access to services that use resources creatively.
In Gloucestershire ASC we are passionate about supporting staff to develop. We want to see our staff progress to their full potential, whatever that means to them.
To help us to achieve our vision we focus on making ASC a place where people want to work and feel supported to deliver quality practice so they can focus on people first.
For this to happen we offer training and development opportunities for all staff and clear career pathways for social care professionals, social workers and managers. We question the norm, model quality in everything we do and we create a safe space for reflection. Our reason for doing this is we care about our people and what we do.
