​The Forest of Dean is situated in the western part of the County of Gloucestershire on the border of Monmouthshire and South Wales.
The area is a large area of mixed woodlands and forms a triangular plateau surrounded by the River Wye to the west and the north west, Herefordshire to the north, the River Severn to the south and the city of Gloucester to the east.Â
This is a beautiful part of the country and is part of the pleasure of working for the Forest Locality. We are a friendly, welcoming team who mainly live local to the area.
Our office is based in Cinderford, we are a little difficult to find as we are based in a residential area but once you have found us, free parking is available on site! The office is within walking distance of the main town centre which has a few shops, cafe's and a bank.
Public transport is a little infrequent in this part of the county so it is best if you can drive or have the ability to travel throughout the Forest of Dean. Lydney railway services the Forest and links to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Chepstow, Newport, Cardiff and South Wales.
