The Tewkesbury Locality is part urban, part rural. The Locality encompasses some of the out-lying areas of the nearby towns of Cheltenham and Gloucester. It includes Brockworth and Churchdown; Bishops Cleeve and Winchcombe; Maisemore, Highnam, and Minsterworth; and Laverton in Worcestershire.
The Tewkesbury Team’s office is located within walking distance to Tewkesbury Town, where there are a variety of shops and cafes. There is also Tewkesbury Abbey and it’s grounds, which are particularly nice in the summer months, and there is a picnic area by the River Severn, behind the Tewkesbury Team’s office. There is a newly built leisure centre next door, which offers a gym, a swimming pool, and a range of exercise classes. There is also free parking on site!
The Tewkesbury Team’s office is on the main bus route between Gloucester and Tewkesbury and there are also regular buses to Cheltenham. There is a train station a ten minute drive away, which has good train links to the rest of the county.
