We provide information and advice to people so as to support them to make good decisions about care and support and we support people to find ways to prevent their care needs from increasing, or find ways to delay the impact of their needs. We also protect people from abuse and neglect and we work predominantly with those who are 18+ with physical disabilities and dementia.Ā
Tewkesbury Teamās office is well-placed for good multi-agency working. The office is housed in the same building as the Police, Housing, Children and Families, the Job Centre, and Citizens Advice. Within the office itself are also a Community Nursing Team, an Occupational Therapy Team, and a Reablement Team.
