Care services finance (CSF) and deferred payments team

The team administer the financial administration function for Adult Social Care, and support with some children’s services.

They make payments to care providers and to those in receipt of particular allowances or direct payments.

The team is responsible for raising invoices to individuals with eligible needs for all provided and purchased care, monitoring and chasing outstanding debt.

The team is also responsible for the delivery of the deferred payments element of the Care Act 2014. This means we are responsible for securing residential care debt against properties, monitoring those debts and recovering those debts when the property is sold.
